It has been a long time since I created a paper faux bow. This bow was created using an oval punch. You could also use an oval die if you don't have a punch.
One of the most popular class series I did in the past was a technique how to class. Stampers would come create 4 samples using different techniques and receive a PDF with instructions for them to place in their 3 ring binder. When I quit doing in person classes I continued the series on my blog. Each technique had a how to video to go with it along with the PDF to download. Some people learn by watching and some learn by reading.
You can see the oval is simply folded in half to create one half of the bow.
