Earlier this month I had a Catalog Kick Off Party on my exclusive Facebook Group for my online customers. We enjoyed some fun games, trivia, scavenger hunt and stamping videos. Two of the featured videos I demonstrated Stepped Up Stamping.
Stepped Up Stamping!
Step 1 – Stepped Up 2 – Stepped Up 3
Card 1
Basic Stamping: Jar of Flowers stamp set, Whisper White Cardstock and the Flower For Every Season Designer Series Paper and Poppy Parade Classic Ink.
Card 2
Stepped Up: Added embossing using one of the Greenery Embossing Folders, Colored the flowers with the Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend Light, Cut out the layer of Whisper White using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and added some of the Clear Epoxy Droplets.
Card 3
Stepped Stepped Up: Added some water using Balmy Blue Classic Ink and a bow made from the Bumblebee Ink Color Ribbon. I also cut out two of the flowers and popped them up a bit.
It is hard to see from the photo, but in person the droplets look like little water drops. If you have trouble tieing bows you will love the new In Color Ribbons (Bumblebee shown here), it is so soft and easy to tie.
The Jar of Flowers stamp set by Stampin' Up! and the Flower For Every Season Designer Series paper are part of the Flower For Every Season Suite of products by Stampin' Up! I am a push over for any stamp that is a jar.
My video today will demonstrate card number 3. You can step up any project just by adding layers, embellishments, and color. What you do is up to you!
We hope you found some inspiration here today. Want More?
