Happy Birthday To You Card using Bloom Where You are Planted Suite and today’s Sunday Sketch SS051. Each week I create a card using one of our card sketches and share it with you on Sunday. The sketch today really inspired me.

You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout or change it up a bit. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal. Let your imagination run wild!
Happy Birthday To You Card

The card base is Soft Succulent Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ folded in half. All the pattern paper is from the Bloom Where you are Planted Designer Series Paper. I started with a piece of the wood grain paper measures 3″ x 4 1/4″ and glued it to a piece of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″. Then glue that to the center of the cardfront.
Then I ran a piece of the brick pattern 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ across the cardfront about 1″ from the bottom. The pot is cut out from the designer series paper using the coordinating Perfect Plants Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. There are many plant options on the paper, but the one I wanted needed to be fussy cut.
I stamped the “Happy Birthday to You” from the Best Year Ever Stamp Set and stamped it in Evening Evergreen Classic Ink. The final finishing touch was a Linen Thread Bow attached to the top of the pot.

Don’t forget to check out a recent post Alison Solven (my Border Buddy) shared using the suite. She has a fun video posted too if you love seeing it in “person”.
