Do you love cows, my dear brother in law does! I created this card with the Peekaboo Farm Cows and think I will need to save it for his Birthday. They are part of the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!

I wanted to create a barn so I cut out two windows in Real Red cardstock using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
Then I ran the paper through the machine using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder to create a barn look. It is important to remember to always cut first emboss later. If you emboss first and then run through to cut it, it will flatten out the embossing.

I wanted the Peekaboo Farm Cows to be peeking out the windows. Notice the wood look behind the cows. I used a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to create the look of a wooden wall.

Since today is Sunday Sketches I decided to use this sketch to create my card. You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout or change it up a bit. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal. Let your imagination run wild! I replaced the ribbon with a the Peekaboo Farm Cows holding a sign saying Happy Birthday!

The rectangles are from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I used the ones that measure 1 3/16″ x 1 11/16″ window opening. The sign measures 1 3/16″ x 3 3/16″ opening. The Happy Birthday is from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set and I just love how you can layer the words.
The cows are colored with Stampin’ Blends and I finished the card off by adding a bow made from the Black and White Gingham Ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed this fun and cheerful card today. My Border Buddy often does a Sunday Sketch Video so be sure to hop over to her blog and take a look.
Thanks for visiting my blog today! Happy Stamping!
