My life was happy, I was still married to my best friend, we had raised two wonderful children. I didn't know I was looking for something more. The first Stampin' Up! workshop I was invited to I wasn't interested in stamping, I wanted to see a friend who was going to be there. I politely purchased a stamp set, black ink pad and pastels for my daughter. Have you ever made a pity purchase?
Our daughter was the gifted artist in the family and she soon had me stamping and helping me learn to be creative. I started purchasing more and more and my husband said "I think if you sign up to sell that stuff they give you a discount". Well I had no intention of selling it but I was already buying enough a month to get the discount, so in 1998 on August 23 I joined Stampin' Up! JUST FOR THE DISCOUNT.
Pretty soon my friends and family wanted to buy stuff which was great and well the rest is history. Little did I know I wanted to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! My passion for stamping and sharing with people grew and grew. Nothing gives me more joy than helping someone stamp a card for the first time and feel what I felt when I created my first card. This is my destiny.

HI Patsy,
I have the stamp set your card was stamped with! It is such a beautiful set. So many creative and beautiful coloring you could do wit it.
I would like to sign up but I don’t think I could buy or make enough to cover the quarterly amount required.
Papercrafting can be a creative and fun hobby.
