We are living in uncharted times. Thinking what my children will tell their grandchildren about the 2020 Virus outbreak. While my birthday yesterday was unusual it was a very special day. Many phone calls and long chats with family and friends and he past few days hand stamped cards arriving in the mail. I thought today I would just share some of the fun cards I received this past week.
This card is from my dear Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friend Linda Heller and Matt who are like family to us. Linda was instrumental and making me learn to create my own cards so I could share them on my blog. It was quite a task, giving me assignments and checking up on me to make me accountable. Now years later I am a very confident stamper.
This card is from Sue Nelson who started it all. I attended my very first workshop over 23 years ago, Sue was the demonstrator. She is my childhood friend and mentor and we usually spend our Birthdays with lunch and stamping. It will have to wait awhile to celebrate together. Thank You Sue for sharing your love of stamping with me.
These cards are from demonstrator's who are part of my team called the Diva & Dude Stampers! We always welcome new members to the group and love sharing with each other on our exclusive Facebook Group and at Stampin' Up! Events.
You may have heard me often talk about my two high school friends Bev & Peggy. Each year we get together for 3 days. We live in different parts of the state so we rotate who's house we go to each year. Special Times!
This card came from Donna Griffith who is a demonstrator and also works at the Stampin' Up! Home Office as Demonstrator Development Manager. I have worked with her in different capacities Donna is a very special person.
This card is from Joanne Starbuck whom I meet many years ago at a Stampin' Up! Leadership training and we have always stayed connected. That is the biggest perk of my Stampin' Up! Demonstratorship is the special bonds and friendships.
These to beautiful cards came from customers!
Left: Barbara Youngs who is always leaving me delightful comments on my blog that make my day!
Right: Karen Nelson who moved from the west coast to the east coast and calls in her orders just so we can chat.
This sweet card came from my dear customer Rose who is 95 years old and still stamping.
It is so fun to receive cards in the mail for any occasions. Some of these were birthday card, some Thank You Cards and one just because. No matter the reason cards are so important in our lives and I am grateful I have had the opportunity to make it my business.
