Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I share a card on our blogs that we have CASEd from the catalog. CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogs to inspire you!
Today's card features the Meant to Be Stamp Set and Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. I used the Whisper White Note Cards you can purchase. They included 20 precut & scored note cards and envelopes for only $6.50 and also come in Very Vanilla. These note cards a smaller than our traditional card but can still be mailed.
When you CASE you can copy it exactly, or tweak it by changing the colors and or even the stamp set or both as I did in todays card. But remember if you go too far you just created your own card.
Simple Stamping Steps
- Fold Whisper White Note Card in Half to create card base.
- Glue the 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" All My Love Designer Paper to the note card front.
- Cut out the rectangle in Whisper White Cardstock using the Big Shot and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.
- Stamp the words from Meant to Be stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink in the center of the rectangle.
- Adhere the rectangle to the card front with dimensionals.
- Cut out of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock the lacy heart from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies using the Big Shot.
- Glue the heart to the center of the rectangle (I used Fine-Tip Glue).
- Tie a bow with the narrow Flirty Flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo and glue to the top center of the heart.
- Color one of the Epoxy Heart Droplets with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend* and adhere to the bottom of the heart (these are self-adhesive).
- I traced and cut out the outline of the envelope flap on a piece of Botanical Butterfly Designer Paper (featured in the Sale-a-brations Brochure). Then I glued it to the flap of the envelope.
*I love the Stampin' Blends for coloring embellishments like the pearls and rhinestones. You can also custom color your ribbons with the Stampin' Blends.

Patsy, I just love everything about your card today. Thank you for including the steps so we could case it…which I just may have to do.
