This is one of those cards the camera just can't capture its beauty! The card is so much lovelier in real life. Do you like the gradient blue ink in the greeting this is very easy to achieve with the Stamparatus?
- Once you have your stamp on the Stamparatus where you want it, ink up the entire stamp in Balmy Blue ink and stamp your paper.
- Then ink just 2/3 of the bottom of the greeting in Blueberry Bushel Ink and stamp again.
- Then ink up 1/3 of the bottom in Night of Navy ink and stamp again.
Now you have a fun rainbow effect on your greeting. If you aren't familiar with the Stamparatus click here to see a quick video of this amazing tool.
The card on the left is from page 26 in the Holiday Catalog my CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) is on the right-hand side. It is almost an exact case except for the sentiment and I used the Sparkle Glimmer paper behind the buildings instead of the gray. I also didn't do the stitching around the card. Have you tried stitching on your cards?
For the sky background, I placed a little Balmy Blue ink refill in the ink pad lid and grabbed some up with an aqua painter and ran it across some Shimmer White Cardstock.

Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I share a card on our blogs that we have CASEd from the catalog. CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogs to inspire you! Or maybe even copy it exactly, or tweak it by changing the colors and or even the stamp set. But remember if you go too far you just created your own card.
All paper crafting supplies used for today's project are Stampin' Up!
