Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I share a card on our blogs that we have CASEd from the catalog. CASE = (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogs to inspire you! Or maybe even copy it exactly, or tweak it by changing the colors and or even the stamp set. But remember if you go too far you just created your own card.
I love how this Christmas Wreath card turned out. Using the pine bough from the Christmas Staircase Thinlits Dies to create the wreath was so much fun. Embellished it with one of the All is Bright Paperclips and some of the 1/8" solid Real Red ribbon.
You can see it is very similar to the original card that was featured on page 27 of the Holiday Catalog. The words & the wreath on the original are part of the Winter Woods stamp set also on that page. Adding a little washi tape behind the stitched shape to finish the card off with a little pop.

Patsy, I like your card so much better than the one you “case”d. Your card says “Christmas” in every sense of the word. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and imagination with us. Have a super fantastic day.

Your card, once again, is better than the catalog sample. Really like the two greens to give depth to your wreath. thanks for sharing.
