Be Merry Kit is a last-chance item and is available while supplies last. After January 2, 2018, it will no longer be available. While it may be too late for this year, why not get a head start on next year. These make great tree ornaments or as I often do top my gift with an ornament for the tree.
Wish you a Merry Christmas!
Today I am going to finishing up my sharing of special ornaments that adorn our tree.
A few years ago I did a class where we put re-inkers in clear bulbs with glitter and made some sparkly ornaments. Our son Paul took this idea and created this ornament for me using paints. Paul will turn 40 on his next birthday, and I am wondering where the years have gone.
Our daughter Danielle was always creating things. I am not sure what year I received the Crayola necklace as a gift. She had a new set of Crayola markers, and she took the caps off and cut them up to make beads and strong them on a ribbon. I will admit I was a bit horrified that she had cut up the markers but who can be mad at such a thoughtful gift. I would sometimes wear it, and she would smile. It now is an ornament for the tree each year.
My sister is ten years younger than me so our children who are cousins are a few years apart in age. When Alida and Taharah came along, they were almost like grandchildren and a bright spot in our life. Each year we would get a homemade ornament from them. This one was made using old puzzle pieces to create a frame.
Our daughter made this ornament by making a handprint of our first Granddaughter Kitana on the ornament with paint and then making the snowman out of each fingerprint.
Our Daughter-in-law made hand and footprints in the moldable clay of our next Granddaughter Alayna. Each family has done this with for each grandchild, and I have these hanging up all year.
Our Grandson Isaac reminded me as we were decorating the tree together, that he made this ornament last year. I am glad he remembered as I didn't and will need to write his name on it.
Here is Liam's handprint in the moldable clay creating a Santa Claus, they love to see how much their hand have grown each year.
Last but certainly not least, is our little Fallon's footprint in the moldable clay creating a penguin. Christmas is going to be exceptional this year as we all gather together.

Handmade is special and that is why it is so hard for people to throw away a hand stamped card.
