Do any of you grow orchids? My Mother-in-law who has an incredible green thumb can get them to bloom over and over again. I knew when I saw the Climbing Orchid stamp set in the Catalog along with the coordinating Orchid Builder Framelits I would need to buy it.
When the Stampin' Blends came out I knew this would be a great image to use them on.
I started with the lighter Paper Pumpkin Blends and colored the entire flower then went back and colored the edges with the darker Pumpkin Pie Blends. Then where it is very light I took the Lifter and removed some of the color. You can achieve this amazing look so easy with the Stampin' Blends. You know me it has to be EASY!
I decided to change up a bit and color my flowers on my CASE card. I tried to use the Gold Glimmer Paper but it didn't stand out enough so I replaced it with the Early Espresso.
Each week I share the PDF Tutorial for my CASE card in my Weekly Newsletter with images, supply list, measurements and step by step directions.

Oh, Patsy, your card is beautiful! I like the way your flowers “pop” off the page. Your “case” card is so much better than the original. Thank you for sharing your creations with us.
