Hello Stampers,
It's Border Buddy Saturday today, Patsy here. The Quilt Builder Thinlits Dies are not just for Christmas. In the Holiday Catalog, the Quilted Christmas Stamp Set & the coordinating Quilt Builder Thinlits are surrounded by Christmas paper and colors which makes one think only of Christmas. However, if you change up the colors and designer paper you have a stamp set and thinlits for any occasion.
Here is a great example of a card that doesn't say Christmas at all. This unique design was inspired by the sample in the Holiday Catalog.
To achieve the outline 6 petal flower I took the die on the left and then placed the die on the right in the center and ran it through the big shot. This gave me the thin outline flowers and the 6 petals. I placed the outline flower on the cardstock and then placed the cut out petals inside with a glue dot, then I removed the outline flower which left just the petals.
I used my favorite color Calypso Coral along with my favorite designer paper Petal Garden. I placed a piece of Cardstock Vellum on top of the pattern paper to give it a unique layer look. I cut out "hope" from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Die and Big Shot and applied with dimensionals. The card is finished off with one of the Gold Binder Clips and tied some of the Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon in a bow on the binder.
There are so many possibilities with this versatile stamp set and dies.

A beautiful card and a great message. Both for Christmas and, maybe breast cancer awareness.
