Okay, what was I thinking when I decided to CASE this card. While it was a blast to make the PDF Tutorial Directions were a nightmare LOL.
This really was fun to make all the layers and sponging.
Years ago when I first became a demonstrator I had a Mom and 4 daughters who all stamped. They actually had been stamping way longer than me.
When they hosted a workshop I was always trying to think of amazing things to show them. For one of their workshops I came up with three amazing techniques (can't remember what they were as it is 18+ years ago)
As I was sponging the edge of the card they asked: "what are you doing"?
I hesitantly said, "sponging the card". They were so amazed and excited. I thought WHAT? I spent hours preparing the other techniques and they were impressed with sponging? Yes, there were and I think of them all every time I sponge a card.
Happy to say the youngest daughter Amanda has been a demonstrator on my team for several years now.
The PDF Tutorial for this card will be in tomorrow's newsletter. Each Friday my newsletter subscribers receive a Free PDF Tutorial for the directions for that week's Just in CASE card.

Patsy, that is an awesome card! All the different techniques you used make the card outstanding. I never would have thought to use the doily with the ribbon and the layering of the flowers is fantastic. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and imagination with us.

I sponged a card a week ago….the painted harvest set. Along the edges of a fence. It always adds so much depth to a card. Your card is beautiful. I always enjoy seeing and trying your techniques. Thanks for sharing.

I love the sponging, it adds so much to a card—who would have thought that little extra would make such a difference.!
Thanks for sharing your talent.

I sent my mom a birthday “post card” where you can color in the design. I did that with coloring pencils and also used some stickles for accent . But it still needed more, so I sponged the edges. It looked better.
Thanks for sharing with us.
