The memories of our Thailand trip will glow for many years much like the foil paper in this card. This is one of the Make and Takes we made in Thailand featuring the Year of Cheer Suite in the Holiday Catalog. The Holiday Catalog goes live September 1st and you won’t want to miss checking out this glowing suite.
Much like the Beauty of Thailand the beauty of this card is hard to capture in a photo. The foil designer paper had 4 different designs in champagne, copper, gold and silver.
The stunning Foil Snowflake can be either Silver or Gold with a simple flip of the snowflake.
See the dangling little star tied with the Linen Thread? This fun embellishment comes in a package of 24 and has both gold and silver charms in 2 different designs.
There are so many amazing things it this Holiday Catalog I am going to warn you – your list will be HUGE!
I know it isn’t everyone’s favorite thing to look at friends vacation picture, that is why I am putting them at the end of the post so you can escape easily.
Day Two of the Thailand Adventure
Tom is opening a Mangosteen fruit for me – these were my favorite exotic tropical fruit and part of the wonderful bowl of fruit that welcomed us to our room.
We spent the 2nd day with our dear Stampin’ Up! incentive trip buddies Dave & Georgia walking along the beach and swimming the afternoon away in the pool. For some reason I only have a pic of the guys!
I was a bit freaked out as we walked along the beach all the little sand crabs ran around down into their holes. I really don’t like critters and there were a few on this trip. Stay tuned in weeks to come for more critter stories.

Day Three of the Thailand Adventure
This morning we boarded a bus and headed to the east side of the island. The wires on the poles were overwhelming, it was an endless stream of wires everywhere.
When we reached the east side of the island we boarded a boat to take us out to the floating city of Koh-Panyi.
Here is were we disembarked the boat to tour the floating city.
Here is an arieal view of the city, of course I didnt’ take this photo from the air.
This sort of blew my mind – we were out in the middle of the Andaman Sea and here is the city built on stilts with a population of over 1,000 people.
As we walked through the shops and small boardwalk streets with water on the edges I wondered how they raise small toddlers (I am sure they learn to swim early).
You can see the blue roof of the elementary school on the left, the picnic tables are their lunch room.
Here we are getting ready to meet the boat that dropped us off on the other side of the city.
We saw many of this type of boat in Thailand with these big card engines and long shafts.
Our next stop was the famous James Bond Island.
We finished out the day on a beautiful island with a feast set for a Queen. The tables were sheltered with a canopy provided by the beautiful trees it really was breathtaking.
The rest of the day was spent swimming in the ocean and just some R&R on the beach!
Just another day in Paradise. I feel so blessed to have earned so many incentive trips with Stampin’ Up! and I couldn’t do it without you amazing customers and team members who make my job the BEST in the WORLD!
