Welcome to Sunday Sketches SSO38 by Stamps to Die For.
Each Sunday I post a card sketch along with a card I created using the sketch. Sketches often help get my creativity fired up.
Card Sketch and Measurements
Sketches are open to interpretation. You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout, using a square where there is a square, or you can change it to a be a circle, or oval or flower etc. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal.
This Little Piggy Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!
This card makes me happy! I love the look of the woodgrain paper for the background. It is from the Wood Textures Paper Stack. The daisy paper is from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series paper. I will need several packages of this paper for creating awesome cards this summer.
I am not sure how I lived without the Stitched Shape Framelits, I use them almost all the time if you hadn't noticed. I stamped the pig on the Shimmery White Paper with Basic Black Archival Ink. I then Squeezed my new Powder Pink Classic Ink Pad to get ink into the lid – opened it and grabbed the ink with my blender pen and started to color the pig. I repeated the process with Old Olive Classic Ink for the grass and flower stem, the flower I used Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight.
Let your imagination run wild!
And if you create a card using the sketch I would love to have you share it on My Facebook Page.
