Its Thursday's Just in CASE Series.
CASEing COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING is when you pick out a card and either copy it exactly or change up the stamp set or colors or maybe even both, but if you go too far you are then creating your very own card and just are inspired by the card or project you started to CASE.
The More you CASE the more you learn to be creative so there is nothing wrong with CASEing!
Today's card is and exact CASE well as exact as water-coloring can be from page 133 of the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.
A sure sign of fall for us is when the Canada Geese start to flock up and fly between the grain fields and our lake. While I have called them Canadian Geese my entire life, my Border Buddy Alison informed me that they are Canada Geese. And yes google confirms that for the most part, unless of course the geese in Minnesota have come down from Canada and are citizens there, then I would be justified in referring to them as Canadian Geese LOL.
One fall morning a few years ago Tom and I were going to sit on our patio and enjoy the beatiful fall morning when hundreds of Canada geese decided to drop down on the water in front of our home. I am sharing the video he took and it no way can it portrait how loud this really was!
No two water-colored cards look alike with this technique. Sometimes half way through I am ready to toss it in the trash (as I was with this card). But limited time made me push forward and in the end I was very pleased with the results.
This is a pretty easy technique – drop a tiny drop of re-inker in the color you want to use and with your aqua painter drop a drop of water in it and then pick it up and just randomly run it on the watercolor paper. Once you are all done spritz it with a very very fine mist to have it bleed a bit more.
