Each month I create 4 hand stamped cards to be included in our Border Buddies PDF Tutorial that Alison's and I create. The tutorial features 8 different cards using 2 different stamp sets. April's stamp sets are Stampin' Up!'s Rose Wonder and Birthday Blossoms. Stop back Thursday to see a card I hand stamped using the Birthday Blossoms set).
The Rose Wonder Stamp Set has a coordinating thinlits called Rose Garden you can buy the stamp set and thinlits dies individually or order the bundle with both in and save.
Today I am going to show you how I cut the rose out of the center of the Basic Black Circle to create this card.
Big Shot Sandwich for today's project is…
- Magnetic Platform
- Cutting Plate
- Cardstock & Dies
- Cutting Plate
Step 1:
You are going to take the 2 1/2" circle from the Circle Collection Framelits Dies and place it on your Basic Black Cardstock.
Step 2:
Place the smaller rose from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies inside the circle. Then place the top cutting plate on and run through your big shot.
Step3:
Remove the cardstock from the dies and you will be left with these two pieces.
Step 4:
You are going to place the rose back inside the circle and adhere to your project.
Measurements for the card:
- Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Watermelon Wonder Cardstock
- Matt: 4" x 5 1/4" Tip Top Taupe Cardstock
- Smaller Matt: 3" x 3 1/2" Basic Black
- Patterned Paper: 2 7/8" x 3 1/2" 2015-2017 In-Colors Designer Pack
- Circle: 3" x 3" Basic Black and Whisper White

I topped it off with two Basic Black Candy Dots from the Neutrals Collection. I hope you enjoyed today's project, super simple but looks like we fussed!
