I am excited to share with you some of the alternative projects I made using the February Paper Pumpkin Kit.
While it is sometimes fun to just sit down and make the projects from the kit, it is also fun to try some alternative projects when I am in a super creative mood.
Here is a what I call a shadow box card. It was so quick and easy to make.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the envelopes was to make a special little photo album and of course it would feature the recent wedding photos. Something my daughter could tuck in here purse to show friends.
Here is the closed album.
Just slide the belly band off to see what is inside. The band is made using Blushing Bride Cardstock and Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon (not included in the kit).
First Envelope unfolded…
Second envelope unfolded.
In each envelope is a photo I have adhered to a piece of cardstock.
I used the small pool party banner from the kit to make a tab, which I embellished it with the 1/8" Mini Brads, to pull the photo out of the envelope easily.
I hope you enjoyed the alternative projects.
When you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through me you also receive a FREE PDF featuring 6 or more alternative projects using items from the kit. Here is a sneak peek at the alternative projects that February Paper Pumpkin subscribers recieved.

Thought I would share my family…
Left to Right:
My dear husband of 40 years Tom, then me, our granddaughter Kitana, our new granddaughter Hayley, our new son in law Gene, our daughter Danielle, our daughter in law Maria our son Paul, our grandson Isaac and our granddaughter Alayna.
Little Liam was sleeping during family photo's and no one wanted to wake him up so he would be crabby.
It was a wonderful day and we feel so blessed to have Gene and Hayley added to our family. I feel like Fairy Tales do come true.

That mini scrapbook is a fantastic idea for a Paper Pumpkin alternative. If I’m not keen on the project I use the supplies in another way.
I really enjoy seeing what alternatives people come up with.

I love the February Kit and it is so much fun sometimes to see what else you can make with it. I like to try and use only the product in the kit to make alternative projects – it’s a challenge and I can’t always do it.

It is a lot of fun to see the alternative isn’t it? Thanks for stopping by and glad you liked the little album – scrapbooking is a passion of mine and hope to share more of that with my readers this year.
