I love when a new Stampin' Up! product works well with one I already own. Do you have the Flower Patch stamp set? I never seem to have too my flowers when it comes to hand stamping cards for my family and friends. Which is why I have a hard time resisting anything with flowers.
For this card, I stamped the flower stem from the Flower Patch stamp set using Old Olive Classic Ink. Then I cut out three flowers (one in Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Wisteria Wonder) using a flower from the Botanical Builders Framelits Dies and The Big Shot.
Love this stitched Bermuda Bay Ribbon I adhered a little piece of patterned paper underneath to just give it some extra pizzazz. A great way to use up those little paper scraps.
The flower center is Crushed Curry also cut out with the framelits and finished off with a black candy dot.
Stamping Tip:
Don't have any black candy dots use a black sharpie to color one of your other candy dots.
My favorite flower is a Daisey – what is yours?
