Yes it is true I have been missing – but I have been in action!
Creating some amazing cards to share with you this next month. I love when I get into the creative groove and card after cards is created easily. I do have days where I just sit and stare at my ink pads and nothing comes to me. Have you ever been there. That is when I open up my Stampin' Up! catalog and look at the card samples for inspiration. I find a couple of cards that I really like and even if I don't have those colors or even the stamp set I start creating a card.
Some of the hardest cards I have to create are the cards for my card making day at the Nelson Gables Senior Living Center. The card above is one we made this week, while clean and simple adding the little flowers with rhinestones gives it a bit of wow factor.
Some of the residents have crippled arthritic hands that shake a bit and failing vision. So I try to make the cards something they are able to do if they choose. They do love to stamp and I am so grateful I can share with them what I love too.
Here is the other card we made using the Vintage Leaves stamp set. This is one of my all time favorite leave sets! Topping off this card is a little piece of the striped envelope designer paper. It is a little thinner than our regular designer paper for making decorative envelopes to send or even lining our envelope to give it that special touch.
I look forward to sharing with you in the coming weeks some of the great cards I created earlier this week, while missing in action.
Make it a great day!
Cute cards Patsy!

Love the clean and simple cards. Thanks for the inspiration.
So glad you are able to share your skill and creativity with the seniors at Nelson Gables. As a former activities director in a care facility, I know how much pride seniors feel when they are able to create something lovely of their own. Thank you for taking your time to provide them this opportunity.
