I have been blogging since 2007. In the beginning I played around more on the backside of my blog then creating posts and sharing ideas. I would occasionally post a card or a fun Stampin' Up! event I was attending but that was the extent of it. I spent countless hours figuring out how the blog worked – how it was made up and all the techy stuff that most demonstrators hate.
It wasn't until the fall of 2012 when I was asked to serve on the Advisory Board with Mary Fish, that I kicked it in gear. Her sharing and encouragement meant a lot to me and because of that I started doing videos, posting on a regular basis and my online business took off.
Mary and I have also attended several Master Weekend's hosted by Lisa Pretto. It was on one of those weekends that I confessed my true passion of blog set ups. I had done several for my downline and other demo friends and the adrenaline just flows from start to finish. And so www.blogsbypatsy.com was born.
My original banner was created with My Digital Studio (MDS) a digital software that Stampin' Up! previously sold. Diane Noble was a member of my Stampin' Up! team when MDS came out and she was also an amazing digital designer and illustrator. Because her business was in direct competition with MDS she had to make the hard choice to drop her demonstratorship as Stampin' Up! had a non-compete clause. Even though we had never meet in person we remained friends.
When I decided to start my blog set up business I knew I would need a designer to create custom banners and buttons and she immediately popped into my head. So for almost 2 years we have been creating and setting up blogs on Typepad and Blogger for Demonstrators across the country.
Since we no longer sell MDS I decided it was time to have Diane create my own brand.
A tree has always been my Icon and has a very sentimental meaning for me.

Thanks Diane, I LOVE my new look!
