I know you have heard me say many times "we under estimate the importance of a hand stamped card." I am reminded of this when a customer sends a hand stamped card and note sharing their gratitude for what I do. It touches my heart!
Last week I received two cards just days apart and each had a hand written note inside. I keep these in a special spot near my desk and on one of those days (we all have them) when things aren't going just right I take them out and read them.
This card was sent by Melissa, while the paper is retired it was on of my FAVORITES and I LOVE IT! The butterflies are made with the Beautiful Wings Emboslit they really finish off the card. Thanks so much Melissa for making my day twice this month.
Here is the other card Melissa sent. Designer paper can really make a card. The paper on this card is from the Moonlight Designer Paper Stack. I love these little tablets of paper they are the perfect size for card making 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" you get 48 sheets of double sided paper for only $6.95.
Even though Melissa and I live half ways across the country from each other I feel like she is my friend – that is the wonderful thing about what I do!
Jason F. Wright was the Keynote speaker at the Stampin' Up! Leadership in January. He is a he is a New York Times best selling author. His talk was about the importance of hand written and hand made. If you are interested here is a small clip of what he shared.
