Me + Ice Patch = Flat on my back! Monday night Tom and I went out with friends for our traditional Monday Night Pizza. I am usually pretty careful in the winter and typically hang onto Tom and say If I go down you go down".
The light dusting of snow that fell during dinner covered up a frozen puddle in the parking lot. Tom said one minute I was next to him and the next minute I was gone, flat on my back on the ground.
I am blessed it was not worse than it is. I only share this in case the next few weeks you don't hear form me on my regular days. Since my right arm is most effected typing is a bit difficult.
I woke up this morning so grateful, it could have been so MUCH worse. Now for Monday's Post on Wednesday.

Patsy, I’m so sorry to hear about your fall! We are having unseasonably cold weather here in Maryland along with ice also. I don’t go out unless I have to. Thank you for your tutorial using the new You Plus Me stamp set. Either I’m confused, though, or the instructions are for a different card. Take care and rest that arm!

I love this card but yes, the instructions are for a different card. I think your fall affected you more than you think! (Just teasing but I’ve fallen before and it’s not funny!)
I’ll check back later and see if you corrected it as I’d love the instructions. You are very generous!

Oh, I hope you are better very soon! You are right to think that it could have been worse. Thank goodness you are not in the hospital! I’ll be thinking of you recovering. Take your time!

Thanks Patti I am very grateful – besides being very sore and limited use of my right hand no broken bones.

Ice is dangerous in winter. I have a permanent back injury due to hidden ice. So happy you are doing well!

You are so right Karen LOL I just now uploaded the correct instructions along with the image. One minor difference is in the instructions I punch out a heart instead of stamping it. J

Hi Patsy – sorry to hear about your “run in” with the icy patch – I am not a big fan of ice either – I fell several years ago – messed up my left knee & my lower back, which I still have trouble with to this day – so I am a bit cautious – I didn’t leave the house for 6 days right after Christmas because we had a lot of snow that was packed, which can be just as slick plus extremely cold tempatures – most of the streets have melted this week – yeah!!! (I live in northwest Kansas) I will pray for a speedy recovery & that you have no long term effects.

Thank you for your not Janet, so sorry you have had some residual issues from your fall. I too hope I do not. It is getting better each and everyday. I am only able to use my hand/arm for short periods of time but with minimal pain now. Slept through the night last night so that was a huge plus. You wouldn’t think you would have to worry about Ice in Kansas. Take care walk safely and thanks again.
