Throwing back just a few weeks. I wanted to share with you a recap of all the exciting things that I took part in at the 2014 Founder's Circle Retreat. Founder's Circle is the Top 100 demonstrators in the company out of 40,000.
It all starts, and seems to feel real when the travel documents arrive.
It is always exciting to see how they have transformed the Courtyard by Marriott in St. Goerge Utah. This year the theme was Home for the Holidays.
The entire hotel was decorated for the Holidays including the staff. It was so much fun to see how they would come dressed each day.
The welcome dinner is alway so festive and this year was no exception!
Our first of many gifts, some amazing fine chocolates. And yes they were yummy!
The next day the room where we ate dinner the evening before, was transformed into an amazing gathering room with comfortable couches and chairs.
Jars of candy and treats fill the room.
Tables for stamping with friends.
The 2nd night we have a pajama party!
The halls are filled with 116 demonstrators swapping cards =
116 Cards!
While I won't be able to share them all, we will be featuring some of our favorites on Saturdays during the 12 Weeks of Christmas.
The next morning we boarded buses and drove to Kanab, Utah to tour the Stampin' Up! Manufacturing facility. Many of the staff where outside to welcome us how touching this is.
Shelli always takes time to visit each of us, she is one very special person.

Then we stop by the Jacob Hamlin park which is made from scraps of Stampin' Up! rubber. Alison and I wanted to capture a picture of the two of us together. Even though we live MILES apart and across borders we truly are buddies.
While I do not have any photo's of me in the pool, I did spend Saturday just soaking up the sun to take back with me to Minnesota.
The final night we had a surprise event. It was a service project. When we first arrive at Founder's we are put into teams of 7. I was part of the Holly Jolly team, here we all are. Our job at the service project was to make some of decorations and garland for one of the trees.
Here is one of the ornaments we made.
SUPPLIES:
- Clear Glass Ornaments
- Crystal Effects 101055
- Gold Stampin' Glitter 133457
- Cherry Cobbler 119685
- Garden Green 102584
- Confetti Stars Punch 135861
DIRECTIONS:
- Punch out some Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green stars with the Confetti Stars Punch
- In an empty water bottle, dilute Crystal Effects with water: 60 percent Crystal Effects to 40% water.
- Pour a small amount into the ornament and swirl it around to coat the inside. Pour the excess liquid into a plastic bowl.
- Pour a small amount of the Gold Stampin' Glitter into the ornament and some of the Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green stars, swirl around to coat, then dumb the excess into a plastic bowl.
The Founder's Circle Achievers completed three amazing trees that will be taken back to Salt Lake City, Utah and donated to the Festival of Trees, a benefit for the Primary Children's Hospital.
The service project was followed by a wonderful Christmas dinner.
And each night there are pillow gifts – not always a pillow, but this particular night it was.
Thanks for indulging me in a walk down memory lane, it is so fun to re-live such and amazing retreat. I don't know how they always come up with so many amazing things.
