Kinda Eclectic stamp set is going to be my go to stamp set for the next few months. Love this clean and simple card I made last week on my creative day. Like any other important event or activity I actually schedule a creative stamping day. For others it might be writing, painting, sewing, gardening, cooking or baking. What is your favorite creative activity? When is the last time you took time to do something you love?
Early in my life I loved being creative… my Mom was very creative and provided us with opportunities and materials to create. She was always very encouraging. Then somewhere along the way I "became too busy". August 23 was my 16th Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I will never forget the day I held a stamp in my hand and stamped my first hand stamped card. There was a feeling of joy and exuberance that I had not felt in a very long time.
The other day out of the blue my granddaughter said "Grandma you are famous". I said not really – she said "yes you are when I google you your name it is at the top". I guess in her techno world and the Stampin' Up! world there is some truth to her words. But more than fame, for me helping someone else find their creative spark is what it is really all about!
We are all born creative it is our gift. Being creative is good for the soul and is an important aspect of life. So I encourage you to schedule some time to be creative doing what ever you love the most.
Here is a few more samples from my creative day…
This card was inspired by Debra Currier that I spotted on pinterest. If you haven't check out pinterest yet you really need to. If you haven't found your creative niche yet pinterest will surely help you discover your passion.
Would love to have you leave a comment what your favorite creative activity is.
