This weeks throw back Thursday is about friendships that last. Last weekend I attended my childhood friend's, daughter's wedding. We have been friends since the 4th grade. I have also had the pleasure of watching her beautiful daughter Kayla grow up. It was so much fun sharing the joy of planning the party favors for the wedding.
Her wedding colors happened to be two of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette. They made almost 400 of these cute table favors. It was so much fun to hear the comments of wedding guests. So many were impressed and thought it made the tables so warm and inviting and really showed they cared.
Her Mom Bev started stamping about the same time I did. In fact the first year I became a demonstrator (1998) our hand made Christmas cards passed in the mail. We were so excited to find out each other were stampers.
Bev has hosted a workshop almost every years for me since I started. I am sure stamping has been a huge part of what has kept us connected. As my Demonstrator friend Barbara Lash would say "It's much more than stamps"!
