You can do it too!
So many of you comment on how you love my style, I always appreciate your kind and thoughtful comments. Everyone has a style and mine is most often clean and simple, quick and easy but looks like I fussed. I want you to know you can do it too!
Today's hand stamped card featuring all Stampin' Up! products…
starts with the one of the colors I didn't think we needed Smoky Slate Wow was I wrong. This color compliments so many of the Stampin' Up! colors and give it just the right touch.
Starting with our Whisper White Card Base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2") and adhering the Smoky Slate (4 x 5 1/4") card stock to your card base front. Often times it is nice to add a paper ribbon verses a fabric ribbon for several reasons.
Top Three Reasons to use a paper ribbon!
-
You can have any color or pattern if you use a designer paper.

Flat for easy mailing

No limits except paper you have on hand (and if you are like me and a paper hoarder you won't have any issue finding the perfect one for you paper ribbon.
I love the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch for creating my paper ribbons. You can also use it under a piece of card stock to give a scalloped edge look.
Adding some Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (one of my favorites!) to the front of the card front off set from the center to the left. Adding your Island Indigo paper ribbon horizontally about an inch from the top of the card.
The Island Indigo mat is 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 and the Smoky Slate I ran through The Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder which will be featured in the New 2014-2015 Annual Catalog. I then stamped the "LIfe doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful" from the Perfect Pennants stamp set and cut it out with the Circle Collections Framelit and adhered it to the center of the Smoky Slate.
The flower frp the Flower Shop stamp set, I stamped with Versa Mark ink and embossed with Pool Party embossing powder and punched out with the Pansy Punch. The small flower from Petite Petals is stamped the same way and punched out with the coordinating punch. The finishing touch is an Antique Brad in the center of the flower.
