This week is a busy one, the first Tuesday is the day that I go Volunteer at the Nelson Gables Senior Living. I look forward to it each month and the women are incredible crafters. They love making the cards and while they do have to be fairly easy we like to make them look awesome at the same time. The Santa card I cased from stamper friend Jill Hillard it was clean and simple but looked fabulous. She had a stitched grosgrain ribbon on hers, but bows are hard for the residents to tie so I eliminated the bow. The glimmer paper makes up for it and glitz is good.
My Senior Friends!
Then tomorrow evening (unless the weather doesnt' cooperate) my direct downline (demonstrators who signed up under me) will join me for our monthly card class. We will stamp 8 cards using two different Suites. This class I will repeat on Thursday for my local customers or for those far away you can purchase a card kit.
Here are the cards we will be making, Suite One
Card Cased from Felicity's Craft Corner.
Her's was done in Red's and Greens and was very striking. I choose to use the blue tones so that if they wanted to use them in January for Birthdays they didn't reflect traditional Christmas colors.
The stamp set is Festive Flurry and the colors are Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. The Silver Foil paper is from the Holiday Catalog and what a amazing way to make a WOW card.
Will post the other card suite later this week. Hope you have a grand day
Stampingly,
Patsy Waggoner
