It's true I am back and I hope that I don't ever have that much of a lapse in my posts again! The past two years Mom who was battling Ovarian Cancer had lived with us. In July her cancer was no longer treatable and she went on Hospice. The time I had to devote to my Stampin' Up! business became more limited and I had to focus on the income revenue part of my business which is workshops and classes and my Stampin' Up! team.
My last post was November 15 and that is when my Mom took a turn for the worse, she passed away on December 10 at 9:35 AM. She was so proud of me and my Stampin' Up! business (she was on of my best promoters). Most of December and January have been spent taking care of what I call loose ends, but also the grief one feels after the loss of you Mother is well pretty hard to describe.
Attending Stampin' Up!'s Leadership in Nashville, TN pretty much got my mo-jo back… and so hopefully I will have lots to share with you in the coming weeks-months & years! The cards above are the cards I swaped at Leadership. I didn't have the energy to design or make the swaps so two very dear stamping friends DEB VALDER and SUE HYER stamped swaps for me. It was such a gift!
When Sympathy cards were arriving I would open all the hand stamped one first (you can typically tell them by the envelope and size). The ones that came in the Stampin' Up! envelopes got opened first. Do you know how to tell a SU envelope? They are as smooth as silk and whiter than snow! I thought it would be fun to share them all with those who would enjoy them the most YOU!
