Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I take turns creating a card that we CASED from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. CASE stands for (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog to inspire you!
When you CASE, you can copy it exactly, or selectively edit it by changing the colors or the stamp set or both. Today is a very close case with simply changing the stamp set and dies, keeping the exact layout.
For my card I used the same designer paper on top but changed the one on the bottom both are from the From My Heart Designer Series Paper. I used the Meant to Be Stamp Set and coordinating Be Mine Stitched Dies while Stampin' Up! used the new Heartfelt Stamp Set and the Heart Punch Pack. Punches do make it a bit more quick and easy when creating cards.
The From My Heart Suite of Products has everything you need for Valentines from card sending to sweet treat gifts.
Notice the Heart Doilies you will for sure want to add these to your next order. They are red on one side and white on the other making them very versatile. I trim off the lacy edge on the white one and layered it on the red.
Card Measurements:
- 141416 Flirty Flamingo 5 ½ x 8 ½ and 2 1/s x 2 1/2
- 151189 From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper 2 strip 1 ½ x 5
- 100730 Whisper White 2 1/2 x 4

Love your card so much better than the one in the catalog. I like the way you used the heart doilies. They are so pretty. Thank you for sharing your awesome talents even if you do “CASE” the cards.
