While many are out returning gift and shopping for those after Christmas deals the days after Christmas, I decided to sit down with a cup of tea to reflect and relax after all the hustle and bustle. A great time to do some stamping for pleasure. While stamping is my job it is still my favorite hobby in my spare time.
When I was young my Mom had a beautiful collection of tea cups. She would often use them when her friends came over. After she passed from ovarian cancer I kept a few of the special cups in her memory.
While attending Founders Circle in 2011 when I entered the room on our first evening her presence was all over the room. Grace and beauty filled the room and each table was decorated with an assortment of tea cups filled with roses. I was so overwhelmed with the presence of my Mom along with the amazing honor of having achieved being a Demonstrator of the Year, I had to leave the room for a few minutes while I composed myself.
Once I returned to my spot I was overjoyed to see my tea cup was Very Vanilla and Marina Mist, my mother's favorite color was blue and I cherish that cup today.
