Which color would you choose for this hand stamped card? Have you ever participated in a card swap? Several times a year I do and sometimes I do not have enough of a particular cardstock, so I have to improvise and change it up, while keeping the integrity of the card design.
Like a card swap there are many times you may find the need to make multiples of the same card like Christmas. However many people do not think about making the same card for Birthdays. Why not plan on making the same card for the entire month one for the "gals" and one for the "guys".
Here are a few steps how to prepare for mass production of cards.
- Pick your Stamp Set (here I choose Stipple Blossoms)
- Choose your Designer Paper if you are going to use one
- Then pick out coordinating cardstock and ink pads
- Choose a card Template (don't have a template here is a huge selection of templates to choose from Sweet Sunday Sketches or try out MoJo Monday)
- Start Stamping!
Which card did you choose above? The card on the left (Tangerine Tango on Tangerine Tango) or the card on the right (Tangerine Tango on Daffodil Delight)? I am not going to share with you right now which one I started out with. I would love to have you guess!. Post a comment which is your favorite and which one you think I started out making. I will share on Saturday which one was my original.
Don't forget you can buy all your favorite Stampin' Up! paper crafting supplies directly from me at my online Stampin' Up! store.
If you have never left a comment before it is really easy and I LOVE hearing from you! Here is a picture showing where to look for the comment link… So Scroll down and share you favorite card along with your guess!
Now this one is a tough choice. My first inclination was to pick the one on the left because it seems to pop out more. But now I think I like the softer effect, so my vote is the Daffodil Delight.
I end up changing things, too, when I am mass producing card — even if it is just 4 cards. Either I decide I want a bolder look, or a softer look, or I underestimated how much of a color card stock I had on hand.
I am guessing that you started with the darker image (on the left) first, and then decided to go softer and spring-like with the Tangerine Tango on the Daffodil Delight.
(That one — on the right — is my favorite one.)
I like them both, but since I have to choose a favortie, I choose the one on the right using Daffodil Delight. My guess is that you started with that same card! It is a very attractive card! Thanks for sharing it with us Patsy!
I think you started with the Tangerine Tango on Tangerine Tango, but I like the Tangerine Tango on Daffodil Delight a little better. I love the different examples of cards with differen colors using the same sketch. That is such a good idea to make mass produced cards, or if you run out of card stock.
