In 1996 I discovered Stampin’ Up! and it has brought so much joy, friendships, and satisfaction to my life.
I started sharing my love for stamping in 1998 as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. My passion then and still is handmade cards. Stamping is a wonderful art and can provide hours of enjoyment and an escape from the everyday stresses of life.
You will enjoy our exclusive stamp sets. Big Shot Dies, ink pads and paper; all designed to coordinate with lots of exclusive embellishments to put the finishing touches on your cards.

I was born and have lived most of my life in Alexandria, MN. I have been married to my husband Tom since 1975, we have a son and daughter and law, daughter and son in law and grandchildren (4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons).
I have had a successful Stampin’ Up! Business since 1998. I never considered myself “crafty” but when I stamped my first card at a Stampin’ Up! Workshop I was hooked.
This is one of my favorite Minnesota Magazine highlighting women. I was super excited when they called and asked if they could do a story about me and my Stampin’ Up! Business.

I have been following you for just a short while and just now read your bio. Was I surprised when you said you were born and lived in Alexandria MN. Although I live in Calif. now I too lived in Alexandria for awhile when I was young and Alexandria was a small town…Loved living there did not want to leave! I have noticed one of my favorite contributors to stamping magazines, Paula Huiras is also from Alexandria. Anyway, I do enjoy your blog and your beautiful daughter did a remarkable job on her wedding.

So nice to hear from you Sandie! I have lived here all but 3 years of my life. Alexandria has doubled in size since I graduated in 1974. My husband loved the area he came here in 1973 to attend the Technical College. It is a beautiful place to live in the summer – but I could do without the winters LOL. I believe Paula lives in New Ulm, MN which is about 3 hours south-I do not know her. Might have to check her out as I have a high school friend who lives in New Ulm. Have a great week and thanks so much for you note.

I just saw a card on Pinterest. I love it but I’m not sure how to CASE it? I believe used the Winter Woods stamp set? You made a sympathy card. (ring a bell?) Could you please tell me how you made the background? I looked on YouTube and I cannot find a video Thank you, Virginia (Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Texas, I only sell to myself)
