I don't think you ever get to old to stamp. The first Tuesday of each month I go to the Nelson Gables Senior Living and stamp cards with 8-10 of the residents there. One lady last year was over 100 who stamped with us. It is a special time. Some struggle with weak hands and vision issues so the cards need to be simple. Just like any stamper they want their cards to look great and like they fussed a bit. Here are the two cards we made this month.
Card A: This card used the Magnificent Maple single stamp, Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze, Ink: Cajun Craze and Early Espresso Classic Ink Pads. And the texture Square Lattice Embossing Folder (which I was sad to say I forgot for our class, so theirs were plain). Embossing adds so much to a card with so little effort.
Card B: While fall leads to winter and I really don't like to think about that, the fall colors are some of my favorite. Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso where all used in this card stamped with the Gently Falling stamp set.
They all loved one card more than the other. Can you guess which one it was? Leave a comment with your guess Card A or Card B! I will let you know on Friday which one was the favorite.
All papercrafting products used are Stampin' Up!

Gotta be card ‘B’. They look like stamp enthusiasts and there is more stamping, not to mention more color on card ‘B’. Aren’t they darling? I just love elderly folk! Thank you Patsy for treating seniors to some stamping fun!
I think Card B. Especially since they didn’t have the square lattice emmbossing foler. That folder adds a lot to Card A. But both cards are beautiful and I’m likely to CASE at least one of them.
I would guess card B because as you get older you worry less about perfection and look of bait more whimsy.
Card A
Love all the guesses can’t wait to tell you on Friday… so hard to keep the secret till then!
I love the colors on B so that is my guess. Also, wanted to tell you that I love the tree in your new header. It is beautiful this month.
Thanks Amber for the quess… stop by Friday. I love the new MDS and how easy it is to color! Hugs Patsy
Both of the cards are beautiful – my guess would be Card B. I love all the different colors. I love the picture of those beautiful ladies, they look so happy.
Both cards are simple but I love the embossed texture on the Magnificent Maple card.
Great job!
