Patsy here this week, have you ever woke up in the middle of the night with and idea, or been
sitting at the breakfast table and you feel the urge to run to your
stamp room and create before your inspiration passes. Well that is what
happened to me this past week.
Karen Burniston is a well-known designer and papercrafter who's
primary focus is on pop-up's. She has designed several of Stampin' Up!'s
exclusive Pop n' Cut dies. She has been published in all the major
papercraft magazines and has contributed to numerous idea books. She
teaches pop-up classes at stores and events throughout the world. She
was at our 25th Stampin' Up! celebration in July.
You can imagine my surprise when my computer dings "you've got mail" and
I open it to find a personal email from Karen Burniston.
Her email was
filled with wonderful compliments and encouragement. She mentioned with
Halloween coming up she would love to see what I would do with one of
the Pop n' Cuts, well that kept going through my mind over and over…
and this particular morning it hit me what I wanted to do, I would make
a witch with the Pop n' Cuts and Dress Up Framelits. So this was my
handmade creation. What did we do before The Big Shot?
The Dress Up Framelits are one of the Weekly Deals this week so take advantage of the reduced price and order yours today!

She looks awesome Patsy!! And yes, I’ve had the “run to the craftroom before inspiration disappears” moments too. Not quite to create something as breath taking at THAT!! But something I’ve been pretty pleased with nonetheless 🙂

Hello Bronwyn, So good to hear from you, always appreciate your comments!
I usually do not do anything this involved I am a pretty simple and quick stamper but I do have to say it was fun!
Love the witch. Too cute!
Patsy, This is amazing. I think you are so talented. This card is such a keeper. It should be framed. I love your site it is such a great site. I have learned so much from you. I have had inspiration at different times I had to come up with an idea before It went out of my head. i also was very pleased with the idea. But never anything like this beautiful card. The receiver is going to be so thrilled.
Thank you for sharing this amazing work of art. Happy Stamping. Ellen Hinds
