Patsy here for this week's Border Buddies Saturday. This is week 6 of our 12 weeks of Christmas and I'm featuring the Ornamental Pine stamp set from Founder's Circle Swap. While this stamp set is in the Holiday Catalog and features some definite Christmas elements, it is a stamp set that can be used throughout the year.
The first card today was created and stamped by Cathy Rattray. I love that she used the Perfect Plum cardstock, what a great alternative Christmas card color. She stamped the pine bough with Perfect Plum Classic Ink giving it a tone on tone.
It is hard to capture in the photo the amazing littls spots of Dazzling Daimond Glitter that finished this card off with class.
My other card pick for week 7 was a card created by Karen Duke. Karen is a Canadian demo and creates some amazing cards. Karen used Very Vanilla cardstock giving this card a soft glow. She stamped the pine bough in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink and embossed the ornament with Gold Embossing Powder. The Very Vanilla cardstock is matted by the Gold Foil paper. The beauty of this card is hard to capture in a photo.
Be sure and get the Ornamental Pines stamp set while you can.
