Don’t you just love when your Birthday goes on for weeks? Just received these beautiful belated birthday flowers today from my dear friend Deb Valder. We meet on my very first Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Hawaii in 2003. I would not know Deb if it wasn’t for Stampin’ Up! She lives in New York state and I am in Minnesota. Not only are we friends but our families have become close! As our other dear friend Jan Burnett would say… Life is good!
Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.
I thought I would continue to share some of my amazing Birthday cards. The great part of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrators is most everyone sends you a hand stamped card. After all who is going to send someone who’s business is make cards a Hallmark card?
The first card I am going to share with you today is from my friend Bev. We have been friends since elementary school. We both started stamping about the same time.
In fact a cute story…
the first Christmas I sold Stampin’ Up! (1998) I received her hand stamped Christmas Card in the mail. She had used Stampin’ Up! stamps. I had her’s already addressed and ready to go so I wrote on the back of the envelope you will be excited about what’s inside.
Don’t you love how she did the butterfly cutting it out, then applying the cut out piece on the card front and then attaching the butterfly where she cut it out.
There was a huge backorder on this amazing butterfly thinlit so if you didn’t get it yet – don’t forget it is 15% off until the end of April, so only a few more days. Just Stampin’ Up’s way of saying thank you for being so patient.
This card I received from my downline Janet Gallion who lives near Lancaster, PA. It was hard to capture the beautiful glimmer of this card. She used a tea napkin (yes you read that right a napkin) applied it to the cardstock and then used heat and stick and iridescent ice it is so sparkly.
Both card bases are made using Coastal Cabana from the 2013-2015 In-Colors. These colors are retiring and are only available whiles supplies last to make room for the five new 2015-2017 In-Colors coming out in June. There are only a few items left in this color…
