Stamping is a hobby that is good for all ages. My oldest stamping friend is in her 90's. Last week I helped her plan her Christmas cards using her "Big Boy" that is what she calls her Big Shot. It makes me chuckle every time she calls it that.
And your never to young, as soon as my grandchildren can hold a stamp we are stamping! We are gaining a Granddaughter by marriage, Hayley Jean. She is a sweet, warm and lovable "almost" 12 year old. Hayley and our Granddaughter Kitana helped me with my August Card Class at the Senior Living Center.
We had to practice before we left so they would know the drill. Each one of them stamped both cards. This is Hayley's sample of the Birthday card stamped with the Celebrate Today Photopolymer Stamp Set.
Here is Kitana's Birthday Card she stamped with the Flower Shop stamp set and the greeting is from the Cottage Greetings set (which I just love!).
It was really a fun day and the residents loved having the girls help me. In September they asked where are the girls, of course they were back in school. Next summer I will have to arrange to have them come all summer.
My cards for this class have to be fairly simple but they always love them and often times simple is best. Have a great week, see you Thursday.
