Blogs are often times like friends, if you don't keep in touch people forget you. While I have only been gone a few days it feels like much longer. I apologize to those of you who look forward to my posts on Tuesday and Thursday that they did not appear.
I was trying to figure out why my inspiration was gone this week and then I realized it was 5 years ago this week that my Mom passed. While I don't focus on the date it is amazing to me how on those times of the year that my Mom and Dad passed I unknowingly start to feel heavy hearted and a bit uninspired.
I am writing this as if you are all my best friends and it often times feels like that. I spend at least three days a week sharing and corresponding with many of you. And on the off days I am not online I am still thinking of you as I stamp cards for my upcoming posts.
I have made friends all over the US and Canada through Stampin' Up! customer, demonstrators and home office people.
One such friend is demonstrator Linda Bauwin who has touched my heart in many ways for many years now. She sent me this beautiful card last week.
If this flower looks a bit unfamiliar to you, it is because it hasn't been released yet. It is called Birthday Blooms and will be out in the the New 2016 Occasions Catalog on January 5.
Then yesterday a package arrive all the way from Hawaii from Jodi Hashimoto. We only meet online a few months ago, when she found out I was from Minnesota she thought I needed some things to keep me warm.
This cute little card features the White Christmas stamp set one of my favorites from last Holiday Catalog and it made it in the Annual Catalog last summer. The row of stars where punched with the Confetti Stars Border punch.
As demonstrators we use them in our classes where hundreds of people punching some months. So if you are looking for punches that will stand the test of time Stampin' Up!'s will!
