The other day I asked my blog readers what way they learned best.
- Tutorial
- Video
- Pictures
And like I expected the majority of my readers learn best with a video. In my 52 Weeks of Technique How To Video Series the most watched videos were cards with fun folds. So I decided for my next video series I will do Fun Fold cards.
I hope to post a new video every other Thursday starting today. I will sprinkle in posts with Step by Step picture tutorials and an occasional downloadable tutorial too.
Today's video will show you how to make this really fun Pop-Up Balloon card.
While it isn't exactly a Fun Fold you do need some fun folds to create this card.
I made this card for our Granddaughter's Birthday, she turned 7 the end of March. I had to borrow it back to create the video, hope you enjoyed it. Do you think this is a card you would make? Comment Here

I don’t see the video. Where do I find it?
Yes, definitely will be making this card. Great card for all of those birthday parties. Did not see video..,
Yes, for sure. No video?
Most definitely.
I will definitely make this card for one of my granddaughters. Thanks!
So sorry video has not been added.
HI Kimberly,
I forgot to make the video live you should be able to see it now thanks for stopping by.
Video is now live – thanks for your patience.
So stinking cute!!! Happily, the stamp set did make the cut and will be in the 2016-17 catalog! Woo hoo! Anxious to get it now that I know it will be good for at least another year.
Patsy – I really like your pop up card. I think the score marks are – 4-1/4, 4-3/4, 5-1/4, 5-3/4, & 6-1/4! I tried your measurements and I didn’t come out right? I wanted to make a sample for the future. Love getting your great ideas each day. Thanks Marilyn
I agree with your dimensions..
That is very possible! Thanks for posting Marilyn. I am away for a few days will check when I get back to my stamping office.
After making a box pop-up card, this one is easier but still very effective & fun! Thanks, Patsy!
I not only have made this card for birthdays, but I have a number of friends who deserved “BRAVO” cards, so substituted punched hands to clap when opened.
FYI, I followed your entire one year series of printable directions, and made the examples, and still refer to that notebook when I need inspiration. Thanks again for all your instructions, both then and now.
It is a fun an easy card to make – if you get around to making one would love to have you share it on my facebook page.
Took a little trip and replied to the comments but I see they didn’t post. Thanks for commenting and so glad you will make it!
I love this set and I was glad it made the cut too! Thanks Michelle and appreciate you stopping by and especially for leaving a comment
You are so right Marilyn – I tried to reply while on Vacation but wasn’t able to. Thanks for your correction also the paper needs to be 5 1/2″ x 10 1/2 and I have corrected that in the post also. Thanks again!
So simple and easy I love that part about it – thanks for stopping by Bonnie!
