Its Thursday's Just in CASE Series.
Alison and I both CASE a card and share it each Thursday. One of the fun parts for us is we don't know until you do which card each other has cased.
CASEing COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING is when you pick out a card and either copy it exactly or change up the stamp set or colors or maybe even both, but if you go too far you are then creating your very own card and just are inspired by the card or project you started to CASE.
The More you CASE the more you learn to be creative so there is nothing wrong with CASEing!
Today's card is almost an exact CASE it is on page 125 of the Annual Catalog. I didn't have a the ribbon used in the catalog so I substituted it with a different one. While sometimes we want it to be exact usually there is something on your shelf you can use instead.
There are so many things I love about Fall but there is one thing I hate and that is the fact that winter follows it. If I could set up the seasons I would have…
- Fall 3 months long
- Winter 1 month
- Spring 2 months
- Summer 6 full months
Unfortunately in in Central Minnesota it looks something like this.
- Fall 1 1/2 months
- Winter 6 months
- Spring 1 1/2 months
- Summer 3 months mixed with spring and fall weather
Today's CASE card celebrates fall with the Vintage Leaves stamp set and the Hardwood background stamp. The Vintage Leaves is a classic leaf set. While some stamp sets are more trendy and the styles change this one will never go out of style and will remain on my stamping shelf for years to come.
As Fall moves into Winter it does allow us in the north for some indoor stamping time. I would imagine it might be just the opposite in southern states where they stay in the air conditioning in the summer to beat the heat.
Anytime is a good time to add to your stamping collection. And don't forget this month's Designer Series Paper Promotion is a great time to stock up on some fun patterned paper to use when your stamping season comes.
