Usually I create a card sketch and then stamp the card. For today's Sunday Sketch SS029 I created the Sketch from a card. My arm is making good progress so hopefully will be back to stamping next week.
Today card was created by my stamping demo friend Amy Storie. Her work is amazing and I always feel blessed to receive a card from her. This card was part of the Stampin' Up! Advisory Board Occasions Catalog Swap. I was honored in 2012 to be asked to serve on the Advisory board at Stampin' Up! 6 Demonstrators from across the US and Canada are selected. It is an experience I will never forget.
She used the Mediterranean Stamp Set that was inspired by my other demo friend Susan Nygaard. Susan has sold over 1 million dollars in stamps during her career as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator – can you imagine – that's a lot of stamps. When a demonstrators reaches 1M they are flown out to Salt Lake City, Utah for a special celebration. One of the exciting activities while there are there is working with the Stampin' Up! artist team and create a stamp set.

See the dolly sticking out from behind the stamped image? The Dollies are two toned - whisper white on one side – very vanilla on the other. The image was watercolored with the colored pencils and aqua painters. If you love to watercolor you will love the new watercolor pencils. When using the watercolor pencils you will want to be sure to use the Basic Black Archival Ink pad on the Watercolor Paper.
The Retired List will come out tomorrow April 10 – I will be posting a link to a downloadable PDF Tuesday. You can check my ONLINE STORE and I am sure Stamipin' Up! will have a link to the retired items on Monday if you can't wait.
Need Stamps? I would be delighted to have you order from My Online Store.
