Balloons are always a great image to use when creating a hand stamped Birthday Card. I don't know anyone who doesn't appreciate a hand stamped card.
Often times I get so busy making cards I forget to send them. That was one of my new years resolutions but I am still not doing as well as I like to getting cards in the mail. I use to say I only needed on birthday stamp and that was Happy Belated LOL.
Everything I share with you on my blog are made exclusively with Stampin' Up! Products. All the images stamped on this card are from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
- The Lemon Lime Twist patterned paper (2" x 5 1/2") is from the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper. I attached it to my Pool Party card base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2").
- I stamped the balloons and punched them out with the making Balloon Bouquet Punch. I love when stamp sets have matching punches or dies. Makes it easy peasy and no fussy cutting which I am not the best at.
- I stamped the two outline balloons, one on Mellon Mambo and the other on Bermuda Bay cardstock. The Hooray Balloon I stamped on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.
- All three balloon strings are stamped in Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White Cardstock (2 3/4" x 4"). I matted the Whisper White cardstock with a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. With dimenisonals I attached the Basic Black to the cardfront.
I like to use the Memento Tuxedo Black with my photopolmer, just personal preference as I feel it cleans off the stamp better.
For a little extra wow factor I added a banner of Silver Glimmer Paper (1/2" x 3").
Stamped the label frame in Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap piece of Powder Pink cardstock and stamped "happy birthday" in the center and punched out with the coordinating Classic Label Punch and attached to the glimmer paper with dimensionals.

Simple but classic design. I appreciate a card that is non-gender specific and quick to make. I also want to thank you for including all the dimensions for the cuts. It saves so much time and frustration when we don’t have to guess at the sizes of each piece to CASE your delightful creations.

This card is adorable plus quick and easy…my kinda card! I will have to CASE this card to make a few birthday cards to have on hand! I am like you; I get the cards made but don’t get them in the mail on time. A Happy Belated Birthday stamp would definitely come in handy!
