Each Sunday I post a card sketch along with a card I created using the sketch. Sketches often help get my creativity fired up.
Sketches are open to interpretation. You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout, using a square where there is a square, or you can change it to a be a circle, or oval or flower etc. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal.
Let the cage bird sing is what comes to mind when I saw this stamp. We had a parakeet when we were small. It would often come and sit on the edge of our cereal bowels or our shoulders and peck at our ears. That may be the reason I am not so fond of birds.
And don't you know it seems like they are attracted to me. A few weeks ago we were sitting outside at a restaurant and a mallard duck proceed to join us. I will admit it wasn't a relaxing meal. That is my knee and he is sitting at my feet! We both survived the meal but I wish he would have gone someplace else. I can easily get off task…
