For the past year, I have done a new card sketch each Sunday and created a hand stamped card using the sketch. Today I am going to start over and create another card using the original SS001 card sketch.
I really do love how this card turned out. It was a work in progress. Usually, I can see a card in my head but not today. I just started with the Pool Party Cardstock base (4-1/4" x 11") and added the piece (3-1/4" x 5-1/2") of Whole Lot Of Lovely Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the center of the card base.
And it just grew from there using the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies and Big Shot.
The branches, flower center and sentiment are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, The flowers on the branches are stamped with Tangerine Tango Classic Ink and the single flower on the circle is stamped in Pool Party Classic Ink.
Be sure and click here to check out the original card I stamped. See how using the same sketch and changing up the stamp set and colors can make it look totally different. What do you think?

Patsy, that card is awesome! Love how all the colors just come together. Your sketch is amazing. I may have to do a little bit of CASEing. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and imagination with us.

The card is lovely. I can’t believe how a piece of DSP can make such a beautiful card. Plus, give direction of colors & design that a stamper can use. I also like the teddy bear one that you did before. I have been a hoarder of my DSP but my resolution for this year has been to use some DSP on almost every card in some form or fashion……..I like the cards that I have made with this promise to myself!! Thanks for the inspiration!
